Purpose: 

There will be a Special Meeting of the City Commission Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at 3:00 p.m., or immediately following the close of the following City Commission Meeting, in Conference Room 105, City Hall, 7525 NW 88th Avenue, Tamarac, Florida, 33321, to discuss the International Association of Fire Fighters' (IAFF) Negotiations.

 

Executive Session:

The Special Meeting of the City Commission will be closed to the public for this session.

Under the provisions of the Florida Statutes Section 447.605(1) F.S. all discussion between the chief executive officer of the public employer, his or her representative, and the legislative body of the public employer relative to collective bargaining, shall be closed and exempt from the provisions of F.S. 286.011.

Mayor Michelle J. Gomez, Vice Mayor Morey Wright Jr., Commissioner Marlon Bolton, Commissioner Elvin Villalobos, Commissioner Kicia Daniel, City Manager Levent Sucuoglu, City Attorney Hans Ottinot, City Clerk Kimberly Dillon, Deputy City Manager Maxine Calloway, Financial Services Director Christine Cajuste, Director of Human Resources Danielle Durgan, Fire Chief Mike Annese and Labor Attorney Robert Soloff, Esq. will attend the meeting.

 

Adjournment:

The City Commission may consider and act upon such other business as may come before it. In the event this agenda must be revised, such revised copies will be available to the public at the City Commission meeting. 

Pursuant to Chapter 286.0105, Florida Statutes, if a person decides to appeal any decision made by the City Commission with respect to any matter considered at such meeting or hearing, he may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is based.
